Ah, the Bogeyman. Probably one of the least understood supernatural species, they are a curious bunch. After all, they are said to be the ones that scare children, but in reality, they do this to protect them, to prevent them from wandering away and meeting truly evil beings. It’s not unheard of for a Bogeyman to intervene and even attack those who try to hurt children.

The Bogeyman are born of their species, and they are said to have twice the physical strength and speed of an average human. their looks are difficult to describe but I'm sure you'll recognize them if you ever meet one. It’s said they can take on the form of known human fears, and have a life expectancy of about 500 years.

The only real weaknesses of a Bogeyman are children’s tears and iron, although their intelligence is said to be the same as a human’s. So, the next time you hear one of the Bogeyman’s tales, don’t be too scared. They’re just trying to keep kids safe.
