Ah, the Jorogumo. A cursed species shrouded in mystery and intrigue. They’re also known as ‘the spider women’, due to their ability to appear as a beautiful woman to lure prey. It's said that their attractiveness is so great that even the strongest of men can’t resist them.
But beware, for the Jorogumo are not to be taken lightly. They have physical strength twice that of a human male, and they’re four times faster than us too. On top of that, they have paralyzing venom that they can inject through biting. Their eyes are deep red and their blood is dark green, which is a dead giveaway that you're dealing with a Jorogumo.
They’re also incredibly long-lived, with a life expectancy of up to 300 years. Their IQ is the same as a human's, which means they’re just as capable of outwitting us as they are of overpowering us. A Jorogumo can only survive by eating men who care about them.
The only weaknesses of the Jorogumo are fire, vampire blood & starvation. So if you ever find yourself face-to-face with one of these spider women, be sure to keep a lighter handy!
For many years, the Jorogumo had been living peacefully in the deep, dark forests of Emperia, but one day, their luck ran out. Seeking out new prey, they had ventured too close to a human village and had begun to terrorize its inhabitants. People began to disappear and the villagers were left in fear, knowing that their fate was in the hands of these spider women.
The villagers had heard stories of powerful creatures that guarded the gateways of the supernatural realm of 'Worlds Between', known as Hellhounds. Desperate for help, the villagers decided to take a chance and sent out a call for help.
And sure enough, it was answered.
A Hellhound descended from the heavens and made its way to the village. Its orange eyes glowed with an intensity that sent chills down the spines of the villagers, and they knew that they were saved.
The Jorogumo were terrified at the sight of the Hellhound, but it was too late. The Hellhound wasted no time in attacking them, using its sharp claws and fangs to rip through their bodies. The Jorogumo were no match for the Hellhound’s strength and speed, and they were swiftly slaughtered.
The villagers were saved from the terror of the Jorogumo, thanks to the intervention of the Hellhound. The villagers thanked the Hellhound for its bravery, for it had risked its own life to protect them. The Hellhound bowed its head in acknowledgment, before fading away into the night.
